20. Shut Down

Clicking ⚙ (Settings) and Shut down opens the warning message shown in Figure 20.1.

Confirm the command and click Ok to shutdown the system. Shutting down the system disconnects all clients, including the web administration GUI. Physical access to the FreeNAS® system is required to turn it back on.
